April 11, 2024 | 4:00  – 5:00 PST | Zoom

This colloquium will explore how to meaningfully include students with Extensive Support Needs (ESN) in Universal Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). The presenters will provide an overview of School-wide PBIS and discuss common barriers that prevent full participation of students with ESN. In particular, they will share practical strategies and tools for adapting Tier 1 supports, making reinforcement systems accessible, and involving special education staff in PBIS planning and implementation. The session is designed for educators, school administrators, behavior specialists, and support staff who are working to create more inclusive, equitable school environments for all learners.
